昨日 ，广州个教原本是纳瓦廣州隊重新集結備戰足協杯和聯賽的日子 ，也是罗整练组卡納瓦羅教練團隊重返廣州的原定日期。但是解约當天球隊並未集結完畢 ，卡納瓦羅及整個教練組也未見蹤影 ，曾希雙方似已“和平分手” 。望带完本相關人士透露 ，赛季廣州隊本賽季餘下賽程的广州个教教練隊伍將從內部挖潛 。
早前 ，纳瓦俱樂部協助包括卡納瓦羅在內的罗整练组整個教練團隊購買了9月23日飛往廣州的機票。有航司工作人員向信息時報記者證實 ，解约卡納瓦羅等人23日的曾希機票已做退票處理 ，且未有後續航班訂票信息。望带完本
按照行程安排，赛季算上隔離時間，广州个教卡納瓦羅必須要在10月前返回，才有可能帶隊完成這個賽季，晚於這個時間的話 ，再回來已經毫無意義 。由於此前卡納瓦羅肯定將缺席一部分比賽 ，因此隊內原定23日集結後 ，由鄭智臨時帶隊訓練一段時間 。
現在球隊集結時間推遲 ，而鄭智也有可能從臨時帶隊轉為正式帶隊了 。內部人士透露 ，廣州俱樂部已經與卡納瓦羅整個教練組解約 ，接下來的足協杯比賽以及第三階段中超賽事，很大可能由鄭智作為執行教練指揮比賽 。
卡納瓦羅與廣州隊的合同是2022年年底到期 ，他原計劃是希望能夠有始有終 ，把本賽季剩下的8場中超爭冠賽事帶完 ，希望能夠以一個冠軍者的身份離開，但最終與俱樂部提前和平分手 。
卡納瓦羅曾兩度執教廣州隊 ，率領球隊獲得過一次中超冠軍（2019）和一次超級杯（2018）冠軍 ，但是去年顆粒無收 。在執教的總共148場比賽中 ，廣州隊90勝29平29負 。
