斯卡洛尼複盤本屆美洲杯 ：“這是一屆非常艱難的比賽 ，我們很幸運最終奪冠 。我相信 ，任何在我這個位置上的主教練 ，都會對球隊進行更新換代 。這群小夥子們每場比賽都會竭盡全力 。我想把這個冠軍獻給我的母親、家人和家鄉 ，別忘了這些小夥子們 ，這個冠軍屬於他們 。”
“在我們團結一致時 ，事情就一定會很順利 。我們擁有其它國家很難找到的足球文化 ，當我們所有人並肩作戰時 ，就能取得偉大成功 。”斯卡洛尼繼續說道 ，“我們必須用自然的心態去麵對困難 ，每場比賽都很艱難 ，每場比賽都會遇到很多麻煩 ，這不是借口 。”
斯卡洛尼把冠軍送給全體阿根廷人：“這是個偉大的冠軍 ，尤其是對阿根廷人而言 ，我希望阿根廷人能夠享受這個冠軍 。對於國家隊，阿根廷球迷永遠無條件支持 。我認為 ，他們對這支球隊永不放棄的精神感到認同 。”
