據悉 ，曼城將與哈蘭德簽訂一份為期5年的合同 ，雙方有可能在下周就完成簽約 。如果曼城真的敲定哈蘭德 ，那也意味著困擾瓜迪奧拉多年的中鋒問題得以迎刃而解 。
在與哈蘭德達成個人協議之後，曼城引進挪威人的工作可以說是取得了決定性的進展 。接下來 ，曼城預計會激活哈蘭德合同中的違約金，該違約金將在今年夏天生效 。
