《每日郵報》表示 ，曼城曼城將向哈蘭德提供一份周薪高達50萬英鎊的哈兰合同 ，挪威前鋒也將因此成為英超聯賽中薪水最高的德达第下球員。據媒體此前的协议報道 ，英超現如今的周薪周或“打工皇帝”是C羅 ，葡萄牙人的英超周薪為45萬英鎊 。而曼城隊內的签约最高薪水則屬於德布勞內，丁丁的曼城周薪為37.5萬英鎊 。
據悉 ，曼城將與哈蘭德簽訂一份為期5年的合同 ，雙方有可能在下周就完成簽約 。如果曼城真的敲定哈蘭德 ，那也意味著困擾瓜迪奧拉多年的中鋒問題得以迎刃而解 。
在與哈蘭德達成個人協議之後，曼城引進挪威人的工作可以說是取得了決定性的進展 。接下來，曼城預計會激活哈蘭德合同中的違約金 ，該違約金將在今年夏天生效 。
