多哈當地時間9月5日傍晚5點半 ，国足中國隊提前一天前往多哈哈裏發體育場進行適應場地訓練 。提前天进世預賽亞洲區12強賽中國隊與日本隊的行踩型星比賽將於9月7日晚6點舉行，雖然是场训在第三方場地舉行 ，但按照賽程 ，练巨這場比賽應該是红旗中國隊的主場 ，雖然球迷無法入場 ，装点主场但哈裏發體育場的看台看台上已經布置了多麵五星紅旗進行裝飾 ，以烘托主場氣氛 。国足
根據亞足聯的提前天进要求 ，一支球隊賽前隻能進行一次踩場訓練 ，行踩型星因此中國隊6日的场训訓練還將安排在卡塔爾大學舉行 。不過訓練開始前 ，练巨主教練李鐵將率領一名隊員出席賽前發布會 ，红旗目前賽前發布會時間已經確定為多哈當地時間下午5點40分 。装点主场
出於照顧主隊的考慮，雖然是提前一天訓練 ，但哈裏發體育場也開通了空調 ，供國足將士訓練使用 ，不過從現場記者的觀察來看 ，體育場的天氣並不如上一場正式比賽時那麽涼爽 ，現場氣溫大概在30度上下 。
從開放的15分鍾訓練來看，國足隻是進行了簡單的身體活動，並沒有安排技戰術演練 ，隊員總體表現比較輕鬆 ，阿蘭和洛國富麵對鏡頭，還主動笑著打起了招呼 。
在開放時段結束之後 ，技戰術演練很可能會是今天國足訓練的重點，知情人士透露 ，李鐵將會利用提前適應場地的有利條件 ，重點演練定位球戰術 。另外 ，陣型和戰術要求上國足不會有大的調整 ，但從近期的訓練來分析 ，在中場李鐵有可能會安排一名攔截型中前衛來頂替張稀哲的位置 ，分擔吳曦的防守壓力 。（搜狐體育 裴力）
