北京時間6月15日 ，科因據《太陽報》報道，福登翻英格蘭著名球星加斯科因回應了菲爾-福登向自己的配并“致敬” ，稱 ：沒有人比我更好。论闭
曼城年輕的着眼球星菲爾-福登被三獅征召入本屆歐洲杯陣容後，將自己的也干頭發洗剪吹成了白色的短毛寸 ，他的科因這一發型被認為非常像英格蘭名宿加斯科因在1996年歐洲杯上的同款，而菲爾-福登自己也表示這是福登翻對加紮的一種致敬 。
然而 ，配并加斯科因本人似乎並不認可這種“致敬” ，论闭據《太陽報》報道 ，着眼加紮直截了當的也干回應了福登 ：“沒有人比我更好——哪怕我喝大了 。”
當被問及這個問題的科因時候 ，加斯科因說道：“沒有人能夠和我相提並論 。福登翻我閉上眼睛就能打敗所有的配并人 。不過最好得有一瓶威士忌下肚 ，再來幾瓶百加得 。”
加斯科因此前曾被認為是英格蘭足球天賦最強的明星之一，但是他的職業生涯毀於酗酒 ，是一件非常令人痛惜的事情。
