明年1月 ，埃及將會參加非洲杯 ，屆時薩拉赫肯定會獲得征召。非洲杯是FIFA官方賽事，這意味著利物浦無法強行留住薩拉赫 。在這種情況下 ，利物浦更加不可能放薩拉赫踢奧運會了 。薩拉赫半年之內兩次為國踢大賽的話 ，那對於利物浦的利益而言是個巨大的傷害 。
