本周出爐的欧足歐洲超級聯賽僅僅存在2天後就宣布破產 ，歐足聯如今在後續工作中具有極大的联暂話語權 。而作為牽頭的缓处或下重要俱樂部之一 ，皇家馬德裏被曝暫時不會受到歐冠禁賽的罚皇處罰，下周與切爾西的萨欧赛令歐冠比賽將正常進行 ，但歐足聯未來可能會後續有處罰措施出爐。战禁
皇馬主席弗洛倫蒂諾此前在接受采訪時就表示，季生歐足聯沒有任何可以處罰參加歐超的欧足12家俱樂部的理由，在成立歐超之初 ，联暂12家俱樂部已經在法務問題上做了十足的缓处或下功課 。而歐足聯的罚皇紀律條款中也暫時沒有可以下達罰單的法條。昨日多位歐洲知名記者全部發文 ，萨欧赛令表示歐足聯本賽季不會對任何參加歐超的战禁俱樂部做歐戰停賽的處罰 。
隨後歐足聯官方發表了聲明，季生UEFA表示 ：“歐足聯執委會已經了解到了關於歐洲超級聯賽的欧足最新消息 ，目前正在考慮采取的選項和措施 。”言外之意歐足聯內部也暫無處罰參加歐超的俱樂部的具體措施 。
而按照時間計算，皇馬與切爾西以及曼城與巴黎聖日耳曼的歐冠比賽即將打響 ，懲治參加歐超俱樂部的工作對於歐足聯來說是個長遠的事情 ，很難在幾天內就做出處罰的決定。而歐足聯下一步工作是將草擬的製裁決定在下周一提交給聯邦委員會審議 。
不過歐足聯主席切費林再次發聲 ，在接受采訪時表示：“他們必須在歐戰和歐超中做出二選一的選擇題 ，如果選擇歐超聯 ，那麽就不能踢歐冠了 。我們依然在等待法務人士給出結論 ，所有人都要為自己做出的決定承擔後果 。”
而作為歐足聯旗下賽事的轉播商之一 ，拜因體育披露：未來歐足聯出爐罰單 ，8家明確宣布退出歐超的球隊受到的處罰程度和皇馬 、巴薩、尤文和米蘭有所不同。而歐足聯通常的處罰手段是罰款 、禁止引援注冊和歐戰禁賽 。而作為“帶頭大哥”之一 ，皇馬即使本賽季歐冠未禁賽 ，但可能會無緣下賽季歐冠 。
