女單比賽中 ，中國隊陳雨菲以1比2不敵韓國選手安洗瑩 ，遺憾止步四強 。此次公開賽女單冠軍將在安洗瑩和日本選手山口茜之間決出 ，後者以2比0擊敗中國台灣選手戴資穎 。
男單方麵 ，日本選手奈良岡功大經過112分鍾的鏖戰 ，以21比17 、19比21和21比17戰勝泰國選手昆拉武特。決賽中，奈良岡功大將與丹麥選手安賽龍一決高下 ，後者以2比0輕取另一名日本選手常山幹太 。
