北京時間9月6日淩晨3點 ，官方根廷2022年世界杯預選賽南美區 ，因巴疫部腰斩巴西VS阿根廷。西防西原本以為這是门介一場精彩的強強對話 ，但沒想到比賽進行到第6分鍾就被迫中斷 。入巴起因是比赛巴西衛生官員認為阿根廷陣中的洛賽爾索 、馬丁內斯 、官方根廷克裏斯蒂安-羅梅羅 、因巴疫部腰斩布恩迪亞這4名來自英格蘭的西防西球員違反了防疫規定 ，並要求他們立即離場 。门介經過一番溝通之後 ，入巴比賽依然沒有得以恢複。比赛隨後阿根廷國家隊發布公告 ，官方根廷世預賽巴西VS阿根廷的因巴疫部腰斩比賽腰斬 ，後續將如何處置 ，西防西需等官方確認 。
之後 ，南美足聯也發布公告 ，確認了巴西對陣阿根廷的比賽腰斬：“根據裁判的決定 ，世預賽巴西vs阿根廷比賽不會恢複 。這場比賽的最終決定權在FIFA手中 ，裁判與賽事管理者將會向FIFA紀律委員會提交報告，決定後續的措施 。”
本場比賽中斷的原因是因為巴西衛生關於認為洛賽爾索、馬丁內斯 、克裏斯蒂安·羅梅羅、布恩迪亞這4名來自英格蘭的球員違反了巴西當前的防疫規定 。原本這四名從英格蘭到達巴西的球員必須在酒店隔離14天 ，這意味著他們不僅無法參加該場比賽 ，而且至少要到9月18日才能離開巴西 。但有媒體報道稱 ，雖然此前巴西要求拒絕這四名球員入境，但阿根廷方麵態度強硬 ，最終 ，巴西選擇了讓步 。但沒想到 ，在比賽開始後 ，巴西衛生官員竟然直接進場“抓人” 。
