北京時間6月8日淩晨 ，中國隊世預賽迎來生死大戰 ，种天战术整憑借武磊和吳興涵的气比進球 ，中國隊2-0戰勝菲律賓 ，意志有调艱難地拿到3分 ，力菲律宾也基本鎖定了A組小組第二的武磊位置 。
賽後接受采訪 ，种天战术整武磊表示，气比在蘇州踢了一場之後 ，意志有调經曆長途飛行來到沙迦 ，力菲律宾麵臨客場作戰 ，武磊高溫天氣等很多客觀因素 ，种天战术整“正如我們李指導所說 ，气比這個時候就是意志有调比意誌力，這種高溫天氣 ，力菲律宾誰更能跑 ，誰更能咬牙 ，誰就能獲勝。”
談到與菲律賓的第二回合比賽 ，武磊表示 ，與第一回合客場作戰時 ，感覺還是不太一樣。“第一場我們在他們主場 ，他們是5後衛 ，防守比較密集，這一場我們也預料到了 ，他們想要取得比較好的成績 ，進攻上投入更多一些 ，進攻也更加積極。”
“我們在這個隊裏集中了全國最好的球員” ，武磊說 ：“不管什麽比賽 ，不管主場客場，所有的比賽都是大家一起完成 ，我們是一個集體，不是靠某一個球員 ，不管勝利還是失利 ，都是大家在一起 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
