北京時間3月3日 ，據德國《天空體育》報道 ，寻哈德甲豪門多特蒙德希望能在今夏引進目前效力於英超豪門切爾西的兰德維爾納 ，以頂替大概率離隊的接班降薪哈蘭德，但德國前鋒能否接受降薪將成為這樁轉會能否達成的锁定關鍵 。
根據各方消息 ，纳侦哈蘭德將會在今夏離開多特蒙德 。察机德甲豪門深知這位挪威前鋒絕非他們這座“小廟”能留得住的若加“大神” ，因而大黃蜂希望在今夏引進一位新的盟需當家射手。根據德國《天空體育》的多特消息 ，切爾西前鋒維爾納是寻哈多特蒙德今夏的重點目標 。
大黃蜂之所以看好維爾納 ，兰德主要有四個原因 ：其一 ，接班降薪維爾納的锁定速度是球隊所需要的。其二 ，纳侦維爾納曾經在德甲證明過自己 ，他在斯特加特和萊比錫時期共打入過91粒進球 。其三 ，多特與球員的經紀人關係良好，維爾納的經紀人沃爾克-斯特魯斯剛剛操作了聚勒加盟多特的轉會，雙方已經建立了良好的合作關係。其四，受阿德米耶轉會的影響，此前有消息稱，多特已經與這名薩爾茨堡紅牛攻擊手達成了協議 ，但紅牛方麵的要價高達4000萬歐 ，而多特方麵不願支付超過3000萬歐+獎金的費用 ，這樁交易最終告吹 。
德國《天空體育》表示，雖然切爾西並沒有對維爾納不滿意 ，也沒有在推動他的轉會 ，不過他們已經做好了談判的準備 。自從轉投藍軍之後 ，維爾納的狀態一直不夠穩定，從未坐穩主力位置，德國前鋒的“吐餅”水平遠遠高出他的“吃餅”水平 ，因此重返熟悉的德甲，對維爾納來說不失為一種不錯的選擇 。
不過德國《天空體育》同時也指出，維爾納是否能接受降薪，將成為這樁交易能否達成的關鍵 。2020年加盟切爾西之後 ，維爾納的年薪達到了近1600萬歐 ，而多特的財力顯然無法與切爾西相比 。目前 ，大黃蜂陣中的頂薪球員是隊長羅伊斯 ，小火箭的年薪也僅為1200萬歐元 。因此維爾納想要加盟多特，首要條件就是接受降薪 。
