當然 ，比賽中兩人也是不斷用進球去回應和致敬對方 。C羅點射破門為葡萄牙取得領先 ，本澤馬上半場結束前同樣利用點球得分 ，進球後本澤馬還和C羅友好握手。而在本場結束的時候 ，兩人更是擁抱了一下，並一路竊竊私語走到了球員通道的時候 ，兩人更是共同脫掉了上衣 ，進行了交換 ，從中可以看出兩人深厚的情感 。下半場兩人也沒有閑著 ，彼此又用進球致敬了對方 ，先是本澤馬小角度低射為球隊領先 ，隨後C羅再度點射扳平比分 。從場上到場下 ，C羅和本澤馬用一連串舉動 ，告訴我們這才是純正真摯的兄弟友情 。
