今夏的薪续轉會市場上 ，英超豪門利物浦俱樂部賣人遠比買人多 ，僵局相比於引援 ，英媒约谈續約隊內的萨拉核心球員才是俱樂部認為更重要的事情 。此前 ，利物範戴克 、浦索判陷阿利鬆 、薪续亨德森 、僵局羅伯遜 、英媒约谈阿諾德等主力都已續約 ，萨拉薩拉赫的利物續約工作仍在進行中。根據《每日鏡報》的消息 ，薩拉赫要求50萬英鎊的周薪 。自從2017 年加盟紅軍以來 ，薩拉赫出場 206 次打進 127 球 ，是紅軍的絕對大腿 。薩拉赫的合同還有兩年到期，他目前的周薪為20萬英鎊 。報道稱，法老王向俱樂部提出了50萬英鎊的周薪要求 ，如果利物浦答應 ，那麽埃及人將會拿到僅次與C羅的英超第二高薪 。
