北京時間3月15日，西媒协议據西班牙《阿斯報》消息 ，阿圭曼城前鋒阿圭羅接近與巴薩簽約 ，罗两雙方將簽訂一份為期至2023年6月30日的年合合同 。
《阿斯報》表示 ，同免塔达巴薩新任主席拉波爾塔已經與阿圭羅達成協議 ，签巴阿根廷人將在今夏以自由轉會的萨拉方式加盟巴薩 ，雙方簽訂一份為期至2023年6月30日的西媒协议合同 。此外 ，阿圭阿圭羅在曼城的罗两隊友埃裏克-加西亞也會隨其一同加盟巴薩，方式同樣是年合自由轉會 。
不過，同免塔达雙方雖然已經達成協議 ，签巴但如今仍未落實在紙麵 ，萨拉這是西媒协议因為雖然拉波爾塔已經成為主席 ，但在拉波爾塔正式接管辦公室前 ，仍由原職員行使經理的職責 。
《阿斯報》指出 ，簽約阿圭羅 ，這將成為促使梅西續約的一步妙招。事實上 ，阿圭羅在2014年就曾接近加盟巴薩 ，但蘇比薩雷塔最終選擇了蘇亞雷斯 ，即便是烏拉圭人因為在世界杯上咬了基耶利尼而遭到全球禁賽 。
此外 ，即便是拿下阿圭羅 ，也不代表巴薩就不會再追求哈蘭德 ，挪威人同樣是拉波爾塔對2021-22賽季的計劃之一。阿圭羅的角色更像是對板凳深度的補強，阿根廷人被認為是加強版的布萊斯維特 。
