北京時間4月28日 ，医生在今天最早爆料拉伊奧拉去世的证实着目意大利記者Tancredi Palmeri更新事件後續，他表示醫生透露拉伊奧拉情況正危急 。拉伊這名記者目前已經刪除了報道拉伊奧拉死訊的奥拉推文 。
這位記者表示 ：“拉伊奧拉的还活醫生透露 ：米諾目前正處於非常危急的狀況 ，他仍在戰鬥 。前身”而據荷蘭媒體引述拉伊奧拉助手的体状消息 ，拉伊奧拉本人還活著 。况糟據拉伊奧拉的辟谣助手José Fortes Rodríguez透露 ，拉伊奧拉本人還活著 ，医生但是证实着目目前身體狀況很糟糕。
據聖拉斐爾醫院的拉伊醫生透露 ，拉伊奧拉還活著 。奥拉醫生表示：“我對假記者所詢問的还活電話內容感到憤怒 ，拉伊奧拉還在為生命而戰 。”之後 ，拉伊奧拉本人在社交媒體上發文親自辟謠 ：“對於想知道我目前健康狀況的人說一下 ：這是他們在4個月內第二次想殺死我 ，我很生氣但是我還活著！”
隨後 ，最早爆料拉伊奧拉死訊的記者道歉：“我刪除了此前關於拉伊奧拉（病逝）的推文 。我並不是為了‘搶新聞’ ，此前類似這麽大的事我從來沒有幹過類似的事 。消息最早由媒體TgLa7曝出 ，並且由各大意大利媒體確認 。但我錯誤傳播了消息，為此我感到羞愧並在此道歉。”
