按照《世界體育報》的快点說法 ，登貝萊經紀人西索科將在下周飛抵巴塞羅那。登贝冬窗西索科將首先與登貝萊見麵 ，莱还然後再與巴薩高層就其續約問題進行對話 。想谈续约登貝萊原本索要最高5000萬歐元稅前年薪，巴萨标巴薩將本周三設定為續約談判截止日。快点由於西索科始終沒有就巴薩報價給出回應 ，巴薩因此撤回報價並認定談判已經失敗。
盡管登貝萊還想和巴薩繼續對話 ，但巴薩已經決定將其清洗了 。據《巴黎人報》報道稱 ，巴薩為登貝萊標價2000萬歐元 。考慮到登貝萊半年後就能免費轉會 ，這個價格其實也不算低了 。如果登貝萊在冬季離隊的話 ，曼聯和紐卡是他最有可能的下家 。

為了清洗登貝萊 ，巴薩沒有讓他入選對陣畢巴的大名單。但如果巴薩繼續封殺登貝萊的話 ，反倒有可能因此而被起訴。西班牙球員工會已經發表聲明 ，指責巴薩利用施壓的方式來逼迫登貝萊續約或離隊 。而由於巴薩公開要求登貝萊離隊 ，這違反了西班牙《勞務法》的相關規定 。如果巴薩一直采用這種態度對待登貝萊的話 ，巴薩有可能需要被迫向其賠付10個月薪水 ，總額約為1200萬歐元 。
