關於球員傷病問題 ，南多卡納瓦羅表示：“張琳芃這星期還好不了。回归吳少聰今天已經可以跟隊訓練 ，为国能不能比賽還不確定 。比赛好消息是卡帅費南多回到陣中 ，能不能踢90分鍾還要看他的张琳阵费足多找状身體狀況 。費南多目前是芃因跟隊訓練 ，但是伤缺傷病時間比較久 。根據他身體狀況 ，南多如果好的回归話肯定會給他更多比賽時間 ，來迎接接下來的为国國家隊比賽 。”
廣州隊前兩輪一平一負 ，創隊史最差開局紀錄 ，對此卡納瓦羅說道 ：“今年聯賽開局比較困難 ，除了比賽結果比較難接受 ，從傳中 、射門等數據來看 ，我們的表現還是可以接受的 。我對球隊還是比較滿意 ，大家要保持積極樂觀的態度 。”
