據哥倫比亞《El Pais》報道 ，瓜林的家人報警 ，稱他毆打了自己的父親以及其他家庭成員 。之後 ，有人發布了兩段視頻 ，瓜林似乎處於醉酒狀態 ，在被警察拖走倒地時 ，他的牛仔褲上有明顯血跡 ，但不清楚這些血跡是他本人還是其家屬的。並且視頻中，瓜林還對警察大喊大叫 。
隨後，又有一段視頻是在醫院外錄製的 ，警察和醫院工作人員將瓜林的身體抬起來 ，並且綁在一張可以推動的床上，不過瓜林依然是咄咄逼人要求錄製視頻者停止拍攝 。據警方介紹 ，瓜林在被捕時受到了一些藥物的影響 ，“他對父母進行了人身攻擊 ，後者要求警方將他帶走 。”
據了解 ，由於個人原因 ，瓜林近段時間向俱樂部要求休息幾天，並且也沒有參加任何訓練，結果就曝出了這樣的負麵消息 。不過，百萬富翁俱樂部隨後發表聲明表示支持瓜林 ，並明確表態將會提供專業的幫助。（卓奧友）
