北京時間8月13日，曝费昨天下午，南多足協公布了新一期國足集訓的伤势31人大名單 ，歸化球員費南多未能入選 ，未愈隨後有記者爆料稱 ，强烈求費南多的巴西傷勢目前仍未痊愈 。
“小摩托費南多還沒傷愈 ，治疗战可惜了 。月前希望趕得上十二強賽第三場 。恐无還是法出需要這種替補上來突擊搞一下的角色。”國內記者表示 。曝费
在世預賽40強賽前 ，南多費南多因傷退出了國家隊的伤势大名單 。中超聯賽中 ，未愈費南多雖然一度跟隊訓練但並未達到登場的强烈求條件 。
此前據報道 ，費南多的傷情出現反複 ，甚至不排除缺席部分12強賽的可能，而且費南多堅持要求回巴西治療 ，他同時希望在假期有家人陪伴 。俱樂部認為中國的醫療條件不比巴西落後，此時重返巴西等到中超重啟時再返回中國可能遇到阻力 ，因此希望他留在中國治療 ，但費南多本人要求回巴西治療 ，廣州隊也隻能放行 ，這意味著他12月之前都無法代表國家隊出戰 。其他隊的多名外援也都希望利用假期出國休假 ，金特羅、瓦卡索和阿奇姆彭等人已向深足提出回國探親休假的請求。
