按照計劃 ，国足国脚中國隊於當地時間10月7日在阿聯酋沙迦迎戰越南隊後 ，强赛全部將立即轉戰沙特吉達 ，对手队开備戰與沙特隊的沙特12強賽第4輪比賽。對於這個對手的练名近況 ，中國隊也持續密切關注 。通过據了解 ，核酸沙特隊已於當地時間10月2日在吉達集中 ，检测隨後於當晚拉開新一期訓練的国足国脚序幕。
為了做好10月份兩場12強賽比賽的强赛全部備戰工作 ，沙特隊主帥雷納德特意提出將本期球隊訓練提前1天開始的对手队开申請 ，並最終獲得沙特足協的沙特支持 。沙特聯賽最新一輪的练名部分場次也提前於10月1日結束。
據悉 ，通过當地時間10月1日中午，核酸接到征調令的25名沙特國腳全部趕到集中地報到 。全員隨後按規定接受了核酸檢測 ，並全員通過了檢測 。全隊也因此能夠在當晚展開新一期集訓 。
當地時間2日晚 ，沙特隊抵達吉達阿卜杜拉赫國王體育場副場開練 。考慮到相當一部分球員1天前還在聯賽賽場上拚搏 ，身體普遍比較疲憊 ，因此沙特隊此次訓練的強度不大 ，球員主要進行了身體恢複訓練。
目前 ，入選的25名沙特國腳的身體都比較健康 。這也為雷納德的排兵布陣工作打造了良好的基礎 。
