北京時間3月3日，上海申花舉行了媒體開放日，全华剛剛接手球隊的班出新主帥吳金貴接受了媒體的采訪 。采訪中吳金貴透露申花隊本賽季很可能會使用全華班征戰中超聯賽 。战新至少上半賽季，吴金外援恐怕難以到位 。队员当外而在被問到是援用否要直麵保級壓力時 ，吳金貴坦言 ，申花赛季目前的全华中超 ，除了前麵的班出幾個隊之外，其他隊恐怕都有一定的战新壓力。
本賽季申花隊由於股改推進受阻 ，吴金經營上麵臨比較大的队员当外壓力 ，到目前為止 ，援用球隊上賽季的申花赛季五名外援 ，隊長莫雷諾已經返回哥倫比亞踢球 ，近期的比賽中 ，莫雷諾還因為一次拚搶身受重傷 ，很可能就此結束職業生涯 。約尼奇已經返回J聯賽效力 ，敦比亞和巴索戈目前都在國外 ，受到疫情的影響 ，短期內恐怕很難歸隊 ，僅剩的一名外援阿德裏安 ，近期也傳出有可能會離隊返回重慶效力的消息 。
3日下午的訓練 ，阿德裏安也出現在申花基地 ，不過他隻是單獨進行了力量訓練 ，並沒有與全隊一起合練 。阿德裏安上賽季與申花簽訂的是1+1的合同 ，雙方是否會進行續約 ，目前不得而知 。
無論如何本賽季申花肯定將以本土球員為主 ，全華班出戰中超的可能性不小 ，而培養年輕球員也是俱樂部近期的重要工作目標 ，對此主教練吳金貴在采訪中也予以承認 ：“我們隻能老隊員當外援用 ，年輕球員當本土球員用，充分內部挖潛 ，發掘本土球員的主觀能動性 。”
目前中超18支球隊 ，隻有廣州隊明確表示將會使用足校小將征戰本賽季中超 。再加上保級名額相較上賽季很可能還會有所增加 。申花如果使用全華班 ，也將麵臨一定的保級壓力 。對此吳金貴表示 ：“保級可能對中超前麵幾個隊壓力小點 ，其他隊相差不大，戰略戰術運用非常關鍵 ，18支球隊 ，降級名額多了，對於各個隊的壓力也更大了，當然我們肯定會處理好這樣一個關係 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
