泰國大師賽四強陣容中 ，國羽除了男雙無人之外 ，其他四個單項都有機會衝擊決賽席位 ，甚至是爭奪最終冠軍。其中男單 、女單以及女雙三個單項 ，上下半區均各有一人是國羽隊員 ，所以如果半決賽的外戰能夠全部獲勝 ，則有望實現三個項目的決賽會師 。混雙的黃東萍與馮彥哲的新組合 ，已經連續四站大賽晉級4強 ，繼續向著背靠背決賽席位衝擊 。
在男單賽場，石宇奇對陣世界排名第35位的中國台北選手林俊易 ，結果石宇奇發揮欠佳 ，以15-21 、19-21 ，連輸兩局大比分0-2完敗 。而李詩灃麵對中國香港名將伍家朗 ，在21-19先贏一局情況下 ，以8-21 、19-21連輸兩局，同樣出局 ，國羽男單半決賽雙雙輸球 ，無緣會師決賽，賽季首個決賽以及首冠依然未能實現 。
女單半決賽中 ，張藝曼對決東道主泰國選手革通，結果張藝曼在15-21先輸一局情況下 ，以21-18 、22-20連贏兩局完成逆轉 ，順利晉級決賽 。而韓悅對決中國台北選手許玟琪 ，以兩個21-11輕鬆獲勝，幫助國羽實現了女單會師 ，提前鎖定冠亞軍 ，這也是國羽新賽季首個女單冠軍 。
女雙半決賽中 ，李汶妹/劉玄炫對決韓國組合白荷娜/李紹希 ，結果兩人以16-21 、19-21連輸兩局告負；譚寧/夏玉婷對決東道主泰國姐妹花組合阿姆薩德 ，最終以16-21 、18-21 ，同樣是連輸兩局告負 ，從而國羽女雙雙雙出局，無緣決賽 ，錯失冠軍 。
混雙半決賽中，馮彥哲/黃東萍對陣日本組合綠川大輝/齋藤夏 ，兩人配合默契 ，以21-18、21-11輕鬆獲勝，順利晉級決賽，將與韓國組合徐承宰/蔡侑玎爭奪最終冠軍，力爭實現背靠背雙冠王。另外男雙決賽對陣，印尼組合卡爾南多/馬丁將與中國台北組合蘇敬恒/葉宏蔚爭冠 。
