2021年3月18日 ，官方冠韩亞足聯官方宣布，亚足江蘇FC退出2021賽季亞冠聯賽 ，联宣來自K聯賽的布江浦項鐵人和泰超球隊拉查武裏直接獲得G組正賽席位。
至此，退泰两今年參加亞冠的出亚中超球隊僅剩三支 ，分別是队直廣州隊、上海海港和北京國安 。接晋级江蘇隊目前已宣布“停止運營”，官方冠韩在未來幾日足協便將公布新賽季準入名單 ，亚足中超衛冕冠軍江蘇隊也將正式解散 。联宣
