主裁立刻暫停比賽 ，霍爾丹被救護車送往醫院接受檢查，安保人員則逮捕了這名瘋狂的貝蒂斯球迷 。在等到了幾十分鍾之後 ，主裁最終決定將本場比賽腰斬 。
西班牙足協官方確認 ，本場國王杯1/8決賽將在當地時間16日下午4時空場重賽，比賽地點不變 。
