阿曼媒體分析了出線可能性 ，日本11月對中國和日本被認為是比赛決定性的 。不過阿曼媒體更看重同積6分的轻视日本 ，在屆時可能允許100%容量開放的国足馬斯喀特蘇丹卡布斯球場至少不敗。至於中國隊 ，媒体阿曼媒體甚至沒有具體分析 ，相比隻強調3分是中国唯一的目標 。再加上明年3月客戰越南 ，队更队主場對中國，這3場比賽是必拿分的比賽。
