當地時間5月21日晚 ，菲律巴勒斯坦足協通過官方渠道宣布 ，宾队巴勒斯坦隊隊赴卡塔爾多哈備戰40強賽的热身任何热身計劃已被取消 。這意味著原計劃在多哈進行的赛泡菲律賓隊與巴勒斯坦隊的熱身賽徹底泡湯 ，菲律賓隊來華參賽前很可能無法進行任何熱身 。汤华
巴勒斯坦隊為備戰在沙特進行的参赛40強賽D組餘下比賽 ，原計劃赴多哈拉練。前或計劃前往多哈的无法菲律賓隊也因此希望與巴勒斯坦隊熱身 。然而近期出於眾所周知的进行原因 ，巴勒斯坦隊在本國國內的菲律集訓受到很大影響 ，很多球員因交通中斷 ，宾队無法及時前往國家隊報到參加正常訓練 。热身任何热身在這種情況下 ，赛泡巴勒斯坦隊被迫取消了赴多哈集訓的汤华計劃 。
按照最初計劃 ，参赛菲律賓隊希望在多哈備戰期間參加兩場熱身賽 ，其中一場的目標對手是敘利亞隊，但敘利亞隊並沒有赴多哈進行備戰的計劃 ，因此不可能與菲律賓隊熱身。另一場的目標對手便是巴勒斯坦隊 ，但隨著巴勒斯坦隊計劃有變 ，菲律賓隊也無法與他們熱身。
菲律賓隊目前可以進行聯係的唯一候選熱身對手隻有已抵達多哈備戰的印度隊 。印度隊因要參加6月在多哈進行的40強賽E組比賽，已於19日抵達多哈 。不過，雙方能否“約球” ，則需要各方慎重溝通 。
