歐冠半決賽首回合進行得如火如荼 ，欧足《泰晤士報》報道的将欧决赛决赛一則消息也格外勁爆 。據《泰晤士報》的冠半改消息，歐足聯正計劃對歐冠半決賽和決賽進行改製，单场取消半決賽傳統的组成足球周主客場製，改為將半決賽和決賽整合成一周的欧足“足球之周”的形式 。
如今的将欧决赛决赛主客場兩回合製，是冠半改在1955年確立的，至今已有67年的单场時間 。而自2024-25賽季開始 ，组成足球周歐冠將進行改製 ，欧足改製的将欧决赛决赛內容包括小組賽由6場增加至10場 ，有更多的冠半改球隊將參加歐冠正賽 。
《泰晤士報》指出 ，单场歐洲足球俱樂部協會已經達成了一項決意，组成足球周已經出現了對於將歐冠半決賽改為單場淘汰製的支持者 。除此之外 ，歐冠半決賽和決賽還會由同一座城市承辦 ，感覺就像是在一個集中的區域舉辦一場足球嘉年華 ，與歐洲國家聯賽的形式類似。而歐足聯方麵則相信 ，以2019-20賽季的歐冠淘汰賽為參照，單場淘汰製更能增加比賽的刺激程度 。
