2023年印度羽毛球公開賽即將於1月17日-22日 ，在新德裏舉辦 ，國羽全主力出戰 。日本前世界第一桃田賢鬥也從感冒中康複過來，目前已經在印度公開賽場館適應場地 。

不過也還是有個別球員因傷退賽，上周在女雙比賽中受傷的拉馬丹蒂就和搭檔退出了本次賽事 。

男單 ，日本選手常山幹太退出了本次賽事 ，由馬來西亞老將劉國倫替補參賽 。趙俊鵬連續兩周對戰同胞 ，不過本周對戰的是翁泓陽 ，也確保了男單第二輪有中國選手 。石宇奇首戰印尼選手茲科，如果勝出將對陣安賽龍 。
拉克什亞連續兩周對戰普蘭諾伊，似乎是被綁定了 ，上周不敵對友 ，看本周能否複仇 ，如果勝出有可能將挑戰本賽季首次亮相的桃田賢鬥 。
李詩灃首戰黃智勇，如果勝出有機會挑戰大馬一哥李梓嘉 。
陸光祖和金廷的對決已經3連敗 ，看這次能否獲勝，陸光祖即將來到第10位 ，希望在印度公開賽取得本賽季首場勝利。

男雙，丹麥組合貝伊/摩爾哈德 、印度組合阿瓊/卡皮拉退賽，分別由蘇格蘭雙胞胎格裏姆利兄弟 、法國組合科維/拉巴爾替補。
劉雨辰/歐烜屹連續兩周和英格蘭組合萊恩/文迪綁定在一起 ，可見世界羽聯的抽簽係統爛透了 ！不知道找了哪個山寨公司做的抽簽軟件。次輪有機會再戰蘭基雷迪/謝提 ，為大馬賽的失利複仇 。
任翔宇/譚強、何濟霆/周昊東很有可能又要一輪遊 ，到了高級別兩對組合發揮都很一般 。
梁王組合首戰印尼老將 ，希望能獲勝吧 。
女雙是退賽最多的單項 ，有三隊組合退出了本次賽事 ，分別是巴西的利馬姐妹、印尼組合拉哈尤/拉馬丹蒂 、日本組合鬆本麻佑/永遠和可那 ，鬆永組合已經連續兩周缺席了 ，不知道傷情如何。
日本組合鬆山奈未/誌田千陽終於傷愈複出 ，首戰就對陣馬來西亞公開賽亞軍白荷娜/李幽林 。
杜玥/夏玉婷也是連續兩周對戰韓國組合李紹希/申昇瓚 ，又是被綁定的一對。
其餘幾對中國組合簽運尚可 ，凡塵組合有望和張殊賢/鄭雨會師8強 。
混雙沒有選手退賽，黃鴨組合不知道能否闖過首輪 。不然又要靠雅思組合孤軍奮戰了 。
17日主要進行各單項上半區首輪的爭奪 ，而在馬來西亞公開賽闖進決賽的選手如果在上半區簽位的話，比賽都推遲到第二日進行 。

一號場地沒有國羽的比賽 。印度公開賽隻安排了三個場地 ，加上2.5小時的時差 ，很有可能會打到後半夜 。
