庫蒂尼奧自巴薩租借加盟而來 ，這位巴西國腳拒絕了英超許多俱樂部的杰拉邀請，最終選擇了阿斯頓維拉 ，德久定主帥傑拉德顯然是做决其中的關鍵因素之一。
