此外C羅的離隊可能也有經濟方麵的因素 ，考慮到疫情對世界足壇經濟狀況的影響 ，C羅目前的薪水對尤文來說實在太高了 。如果尤文無法參加下賽季歐冠 ，將失去一大筆收入 ，出售C羅可以緩解俱樂部的財務壓力 。
不過《都靈體育報》也強調 ，目前尤文俱樂部和C羅本人依然希望可以繼續合作 。因此對於雙方來說，目前最重要的就是踢好接下來的意甲聯賽，力爭幫助尤文保住意甲前四的位置 ，並且在下賽季繼續留在歐冠賽場上 。
