尤金妮婭-蘇亞雷斯接著說 ：“為了維持所謂幸福家庭的形象，如今隻有我付出代價 ，而不是那個真正犯錯的人 。全社會很多人都在不了解真相的情況下批評我 ，對這個社會來說，這似乎更值得相信 ，我被視為壞人而不是受害者 。”
尤金妮婭-蘇亞雷斯強調 ：“我之所以澄清此事 ，是為了幫助自己也幫助其她那些一直被利用的女性 。我是一個不再害怕確保自己在生活中不會遭遇偏見並維護自己權利的女性 。”此前有報道稱 ，旺達發現了伊卡爾迪和蘇亞雷斯在Instagram上的曖昧聊天記錄 ，雙方甚至還準備在無人認識的地方私下約會 。而如今蘇亞雷斯顯然是在指責伊卡爾迪才是主動的一方 。
