北京時間4月19日 ，申花赛季新賽季上海申花出征儀式在申花康橋基地舉行 ，举行數百名申花球迷與媒體一起為即將出征蘇州賽區的出征申花隊送行 。申花俱樂部董事長吳曉暉將代表俱樂部的仪式旗幟 ，親手交到崔康熙手中 。目标吳曉暉在致辭時表示，力争新賽季申花的第集目標是通過俱樂部上下的共同努力 ，要讓球隊再次回到第一集團的申花赛季行列 ，確保球隊取得2022賽季的举行亞冠聯賽的參賽資格 。同時吳曉暉也表示 ：“如果有機會 ，出征球隊會衝擊一個更好的仪式目標 ，向聯賽冠軍發起衝擊 。目标”
吳曉暉表示 ：“這不是力争我個人的目標 ，這是第集俱樂部內部自上而下形成的一個目標，是申花赛季我們共同的願望 ，我們全隊將為這樣一個目標拚盡全力 。本賽季球隊的內外援作出了調整，整體實力有所提高 ，但也應該清醒認識到 ，我們的陣容跟我們想要爭取的冠軍目標，跟我們的競爭對手相比 ，還是有差距 ，這就需要我們所有的人共同努力，為之付出加倍的努力 。”
活動現場 ，申花俱樂部董事長吳曉暉 、總經理周軍為新援金洋洋和薛慶浩頒發申花球衣，新賽季金洋洋、薛慶浩將分別身披4號 、31號球衣征戰。隨後 ，除了因為全運比賽任務缺席的何龍海外 ，吳曦、約尼奇 、阿德裏安 、巴索戈 、金洋洋 、王毅 、薛慶浩等七位2021賽季新加盟的球員悉數登台亮相 。
莫雷諾與馮瀟霆作為球員代表先後上台發言。兩位隊員都表示球隊目前非常團結 、蓄勢待發，相信一定會帶著最好的精神狀態踏上新賽季的征程 ，球員們將會在新賽季用最好的表現來報答所有關心支持申花的球迷朋友們 。
儀式最後 ，吳總向主教練崔康熙授予申花俱樂部隊旗 ，同時申花康橋訓練基地也升起申花俱樂部隊旗 。在現場數百位球迷整齊劃一的助威歌聲中 ，活動再次達到高潮 。
北京時間15:45，在球迷們的夾道歡送下 ，申花俱樂部球隊大巴駛出申花基地大門，開赴2021中超聯賽蘇州賽區 。4月23日20:00 ，申花將迎來2021賽季首個對手——北京國安 。（搜狐體育 裴力）
