梅西和巴塞羅那的梅西合同到期已經接近10天了 ，雙方的续约性續約工作目前依然沒有進展 。金融專家也看衰梅西續約的巴萨巴黎可能性 ，一個月之內暴跌了25個百分點的可能开出可能性 。
金融專家馬爾科-羅伊格表示 ：“一個月之前我認為梅西有95%的越小已可能性會續約 ，但現在我認為隻有70% 。合同”正如羅伊格所言，梅西梅西的续约性合同在到期之前 ，基本上隻有續約這一個結果 ，巴萨巴黎拉波爾塔上任後扭轉了局勢 ，可能开出但是越小已雙方目前都沒有做出實質性的行動 。
由於梅西和巴薩目前不具有帶有法律約束力的合同合同束縛 ，所以圍繞梅西下賽季加盟其他球隊的梅西聲音也越來越多 。巴黎聖日耳曼被曝已經為梅西開出了合同 ，续约性但阿根廷前鋒的巴萨巴黎注意力都在美洲杯中 ，梅西已經以打進4球助攻5次的成績帶領探戈軍團打進了決賽。
而馬爾科-羅伊格盛讚了巴薩財務工作能力。“巴薩在降薪方麵做得很好 ，隊內的大佬們都理解球隊的困境 ，此外巴薩還很好的控製了支出。”
