中超第一階段前5輪比賽打到5月17日就要結束 ，区楚國足從5月20日起在蘇州開始集訓 ，良郭從5月30日至6月15日要依次在主場對陣關島隊 、田雨特性馬爾代夫隊 、具备菲律賓隊和敘利亞隊 。国足归化
區楚良介紹了國足目前的中锋针对情況，“要短期內提高一支國家隊的不同水平是癡人說夢 。我們過去一年多的对手曆次集訓 ，目的使用是加快國足的攻防速度 ，但實操起來難度很大 ，区楚這和我們中超的良郭水平有直接關係。我們經常分析一些比賽數據 ，田雨特性說一場高水平國際賽事 ，具备人均需要12000米的国足归化跑動距離 ，800米至900米甚至更長的中锋针对衝刺距離 。僅僅這兩個數據，國足就不容易達到 。跑動距離可能個別球員能達標 ，但衝刺距離達標就很難 。要完成衝刺距離的負荷必須經過係統的訓練，但國腳們都是從各自俱樂部到國足短期集訓 ，一旦這集訓的短期時間內加量過大 ，他們疲勞堆積之下就很容易拉傷 ，承受不了 ！”
區楚良還表示 ，目前國足需要一個中鋒人選 。“中鋒需要能背身拿球 、有製空能力、有向前意識 、有包抄能力 。但現在來看，我們國內還是很缺乏這種中鋒 。最近 ，山東隊的郭田雨具備了一些中鋒特性，其他國足的進攻球員恐怕更多是擅長在邊路活動，我們需要能正麵拿球的 。”
馬德興表示 ，世預賽最後4戰國足全勝就鐵定出線 ，甚至從目前其他小組的情況綜合分析 ，有可能三連勝就能提前出線 。“因此 ，我們40強賽其實更關鍵是拿下中菲之戰 。”他說 。
至於歸化國腳的使用 ，區楚良覺得還是要看狀態 。“我們肯定會針對不同對手來使用歸化球員 。比如李可 ，我們隨時歡迎他回來國足，前提是他今年在國安有多少比賽打？包括武磊，雖然一直在西班牙沒有正式比賽踢 ，但我們很早就和他保持密切聯係和溝通了 。”
