北京時間3月15日 ，强援上海申花召開新援見麵會 ，加盟新援加盟讓申花管理層信心大增 ，申花主教練崔康熙和董事長吳曉暉都表示，信心隨著球隊陣容的足崔進一步加強 ，本賽季希望能夠挑戰一下聯賽冠軍 。康熙
新援到位之後 ，挑战申花接下來將進行三周的联赛封閉訓練 ，崔康熙表示 ，冠军會非常重視接下來這一階段的强援訓練 ，“我們不僅要挑戰冠軍 ，加盟還要爭取一個盡可能好的申花成績 。”
崔康熙說 ：“去年的信心防守我們做了很大的要求，因為我們在19年，足崔防守上容易崩盤 ，康熙所以提出了更多的要求。今年我們在中場有了很大的加強 ，如果不出現主要球員的傷病，相信我們的攻防會有很大的提高 。”
董事長吳曉暉的表態則相對含蓄一點，他表示 ：“本賽季申花將力爭重回第一軍團 ，確保亞冠名額 ，有機會會衝擊聯賽冠軍，崔指導是有冠軍雄心的，他在韓國執教的全北現代一直是K聯賽的霸主 ，來申花第一年就給我們拿到了足協杯冠軍 。”
對於總經理周軍的工作 ，吳曉暉也給予了肯定 ：“周軍買菜買得非常好 ，基本上主教練想要的菜都能買來，而且總體預算還控製在我們的預算範圍內 。”
吳曉暉在發布會上還表示 ，沒有大的意外 ，球隊引援已經結束了 。這意味著外界傳言的吉翔不太可能轉會上海申花了。接下來申花的一個重要工作還要完成球隊瘦身 ，“把很多年輕球員送往適合他們的平台 ，讓他們有好的發揮空間 。2-3年之後 ，他們得到鍛煉回歸之後，未來的申花會長盛不衰 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
