北京時間12月17日 ，沧州2021中超第二階段蘇州賽區保級組的主帅争执賽前發布會 ，滄州雄獅主帥薩布利奇攜隊員薩比提出席 。队内得更队踢明晚19:30，发生滄州雄獅將迎來和上海申花的后变好亚比賽 。
薩布利奇說道 ：“馬上要迎來第六場比賽 ，团结泰山各支球隊也都出現了傷病和疲勞情況 ，希望不過我不喜歡找借口 ，沧州我們會準備好明天的主帅争执比賽 。明天的队内得更队踢對手是小組實力最強的 ，之前我也表示他們可以打爭冠組的发生比賽 ，我相信我的后变好亚球員們會準備好明天的比賽 。最後我要借此機會向山東泰山表示祝賀 ，团结泰山恭喜他們獲得今年的希望聯賽冠軍 ，希望他們代表中國在未來的沧州亞冠賽場取得好成績 。”
薩比提則表示 ：“隊員們都很期待比賽，已經做好準備，一定會全力以赴。”
在被問到戰平申花後球隊取得三連勝的秘訣時 ，薩布利奇回答道 ：“那場比賽結束後我們的隊員出現了爭執 ，也許外界認為我們的球隊出現了問題 ，但並非如此 ，在那之後我們變得更加團結 ，更加具有整體性 。”
若能在明天戰勝申花 ，滄州雄獅便保級成功，薩布利奇也談到了球隊賽前的部署：“實話說 ，我們需要一場場準備，首先要為明天的比賽做好準備 ，根據明天比賽的結果再為後麵的比賽做安排 。”
有媒體問到 ，在後麵的比賽中 ，會給年輕球員們更多鍛煉的機會嗎 ？薩布利奇回答道 ：“我始終會把最好的隊員放在場上，對我而言球員間沒有差別 ，誰狀態更好誰就會得到上場的機會。”
當被問到現在球隊和當初接手時有何不同的時候 ，薩布利奇說道 ：“實話說我並不了解之前的情況 ，剛開始我講過 ，我們要打造好的氛圍 ，全力以赴打好每場比賽 ，這是首先要做到的。”
