西班牙《馬卡報》將卡佩羅的罗西利千這次專訪進行了節選轉載 。采訪中，班牙卡佩羅對曼奇尼的让人球隊給予了很高的評價 ，“我總是卡佩會把意大利排進我心目中的四強，特別是罗西利千我看到了這支球隊近期的快速成長 ，這種進化對於意大利來說是班牙福音 ，別再糾結過去 ，專注於曼奇尼現在的一切 。意大利踢得快速 、細心 、積極，他們具備了踢出好比賽的一切條件。”
不過 ，卡佩羅話鋒一轉 ，提醒意大利在半決賽一定要小心“慢節奏”的西班牙 ，“他們（西班牙）快讓大家睡著了 。西班牙是慢速足球的代表 ，但是如果你陷入他的節奏裏，對手也容易崩潰 。西班牙的技術水平高 ，控球能力強 。麵對這樣的球隊 ，速度和直接是武器 ，原地發動快攻是利器 。西班牙的防守絕非不可戰勝 。”
可惜，作為意大利左路的利器 ，左後衛斯皮納佐拉因傷提前告別了本屆杯賽 ，卡佩羅表示：“他（斯皮納佐拉）是邊路的變速器 。他在邊路的帶球、加速突破對方的防線極具威脅 ，我們都看見了他的價值所在。本屆歐洲杯 ，快速帶球的技術很普遍 。速度 、帶球這都是球員天生的東西 ，有時候甚至不需要教他們都能做得很好 ，因為比賽的節奏變化是非常快的 。”
