在8月22日中國足協、国足國足教練與管理團隊與媒體代表的为强座談會上 ，中國足協常務副秘書長 ，赛成时党協會國管部部長陳永亮還就國足12強賽備戰保障工作情況作了一番介紹 。立临他表示 ，支部雖然12強賽國足前兩輪確認在卡塔爾多哈進行 ，名党但協會仍不遺餘力地爭取球隊能在後麵輪次比賽中回到本土參加主場比賽 。员发用
陳永亮表示，挥模從40強賽期間國足在蘇州封閉備戰開始 ，范作球隊12強賽的国足備戰工作也已啟動 。整個工作還分為“客場備戰” 、为强“主場備戰”兩個部分 。赛成时党陳永亮說 ：“為了確保團隊作戰力 、立临執行力完整，支部我們根據協會黨委安排 ，名党特別成立了12強賽國足臨時黨支部 。我作為支部書記，領隊張賀擔任副書記 ，成員共有20人左右 。我們在12強賽備戰與比賽過程中 ，要充分發揮黨員模範作用 。”
後方備戰保障工作同樣至關重要 。陳永亮透露 ，“在協會領導指揮下 ，國足前 、後方保障團隊相互積極配合 。教練員在此期間隻專注於帶隊訓練 、比賽工作 ，其它問題不用他們擔心與操心 。”
對於球迷及各方比較關心的國足主場安排事宜，陳永亮遺憾地表示 ：“大家也都知道了，我們第一個主場比賽沒法在本土進行，要在多哈與日本隊進行比賽 。”
不過對於球隊後麵的主場比賽 ，陳永亮透露 ，“我們還在爭取將10月7日主場比賽（對陣越南隊的比賽）安排在國內 ，但受疫情影響，也不排除比賽繼續安排在國外進行的可能性 。我們大家已經做好兩手準備。至於11月的主場比賽 ，我們盡可能爭取在國內打 。隻是受疫情影響 ，好多事情沒法現在確定 。”
