幸運的是 ，我長期處於公眾關注下 ，我對這些評論並不在乎 。但這並不意味著 ，這種文章不會傷害到我的私生活和職業。我親眼目睹過 ，媒體對人們神仙健康造成的損害 。
媒體期望球員們表現出色 ，並且在球員們表現出色後第一個跳出來歡呼 。但在他們發現球員犯了一點點錯誤之後 ，他們非但不同情球員 ，還試圖撕碎球員，並且鼓勵球迷們對球員表達憤怒和不滿。
球員每天都承受著巨大的壓力 ，新聞媒體的負麵報道 ，很容易讓一名已經緊張的球員或者任何其他公眾人物情緒失控 。
我希望，在我孩子們到了能看新聞的年齡時 ，新聞道德和標準能夠得到更嚴格的執行 。因此我希望利用我的影響力 ，敦促媒體改變公開談論和批評我們的方式 ，不要因為我們沒有達到他們不切實際的目標而遭到苛責。
我們都知道 ，誰才是真正的寄生蟲 ！
