西班牙電視六台指出 ，格列茲曼收到了兩份來自英超的邀請函 。《每日體育報》則指出 ，其中一份邀請函來自於曼城。如果無法收購凱恩的話 ，曼城希望能夠得到格列茲曼 。電視六台還指出 ，馬競也希望請回格列茲曼 。此前西班牙媒體上一度曾傳說 ，巴薩馬競有可能讓格列茲曼和菲利克斯完成互換 。
