將近10分鍾的比賽時間被浪費 ，曼薩諾卻隻補時了4分鍾 ，這個決定顯然傷害了巴薩 。在比賽最後階段 ，巴薩已經對皇馬形成了圍攻之勢 。如果曼薩諾給出正常補時的話 ，巴薩很有希望再次取得進球 ，並且徹底改變爭冠形勢 。
因傷缺席此役的皮克 ，賽後第一時間就找曼薩諾就補時太短進行抗議 ，兩人的對話被《GOL》曝光：
“你怎麽能這樣 ？你隻補時了4分鍾 ，還有換人時間呢！”皮克非常憤怒 。
曼薩諾笑著應對 ：“是 ，是 ，我知道我知道 。”
