在這種情況下 ，皇馬隻能啟動B計劃 ，那就是在明年夏天免簽姆巴佩 ，屆時他和巴黎的合同將會到期。《阿斯報》今天在頭版頭條上指出，皇馬在明夏有四名免簽目標 。除了姆巴佩之外 ，另外三人是博格巴 、格雷茨卡和呂迪格 。不過利物浦也希望免簽姆巴佩 ，博格巴是巴黎的免簽目標 ，格雷茨卡和呂迪格則都與巴薩傳出了緋聞 。
西班牙電視六台還指出 ，如果姆巴佩今夏離開巴黎的話 ，巴黎會追逐C羅 。這一說法 ，同樣被迪馬濟奧和蒙特卡洛電台否認 。一來姆巴佩不會離去 ，二來巴黎對C羅也沒有任何興趣。一山不容二虎，梅西和C羅不可能出現在同一支球隊中。即便他們不想爭奪隊內頭牌的地位 ，他們的讚助商阿迪和耐克也不會允許自家的搖錢樹屈居於對方之下。
