上賽季結束後 ，海港化莱海港全隊就進入到假期當中 ，国脚除顏駿淩和王燊超暫未回歸外 ，外教其他人都擁有了近年來稱得上是集结教练最充足的休整時間。目前來看 ，组会助手海港隊新賽季前期的有变冬訓隊伍 ，依然將沒有國腳助陣 ，科或更讓人有些擔憂的名新是 ，相比上賽季初和賽季中期時的海港化莱間歇期 ，球隊目前的国脚隊伍不夠完整 ，大部分外援和外教因為疫情管控及航班原因 ，外教尚未歸隊 。集结教练
在待歸隊的组会助手名單中 ，主教練萊科的有变情況無疑最受關注 。去年成為海港主帥以後 ，科或萊科的生活基本上就是酒店和訓練場"兩點一線" ，甚至他都沒有去真正尋找一個合適的住處 ，而是長時間將酒店作為落腳點 。賽季結束之後 ，萊科總算有時間回到克羅地亞與家人團聚 。此前由於新賽季聯賽何時開啟一直沒有相對明確的說法 ，所以各隊也並沒有急於集結 ，現如今各方爭取推動比賽於4月重啟 ，中超各隊才多少有了些備戰的影子。
對包括萊科在內的海港外籍教練團隊來說，目前最大的問題在於回程簽證、航班等必要信息的確認工作，有時候可能一天一個新情況，這在一定程度上造成了事情的不確定性 。目前來看 ，萊科能夠在本月底或3月初啟程已經算是不錯的結果，而在回到上海後，他還將進行必要的隔離。此外，今年球隊的教練組也會發生一些變化 ，上賽季初萊科的助教之一斯蒂爾早早離隊尋求新發展 ，今年另一位原有教練組成員庫斯托維奇預計也會離開 ，是否會帶一名新助手前來要看萊科定奪，畢竟當時在斯蒂爾離開後 ，教練組已經有過相應的補充 。
目前留在世紀公園基地參與訓練的外籍團隊成員 ，包括門將教練之一的沃克 ，英格蘭人今年休賽期內並未離開中國，而另一人則是醫務組負責人埃杜 。他們兩位加上領隊奚誌康 、俱樂部副總孫祥一起 ，暫且負責球隊的日常恢複訓練 。
