而貝爾的不再贝經紀人巴內特去年就表示知道了熱刺不會連續租借貝爾2個賽季或者是今夏租借到期之後買斷合同。如今巴內特說：“就像我曾經說的 ，他不會留在熱刺 ，雙方沒有任何協議，他還是皇馬球員 。”
貝爾和皇馬的合同還有1年到期 ，按照貝爾當下的年齡和狀態 ，銀河戰艦要想今夏將貝爾拋售掉很難 。雖然上賽季大聖在20場比賽中為熱刺打進11球助攻2次 ，但整體狀態已經不可同日而語 。未來貝爾回歸使得皇馬再次背上了高昂的薪水 。不過安切洛蒂願意繼續相信貝爾 ，意大利人未來會和貝爾好好交流。
