隨著集訓時間被拉長，想法訓練強度提升 、王刚教學賽“真刀真槍” ，有望中國隊部分球員出現了不同程度的疲勞反應 。在當地時間20日晚的訓練中 ，張琳芃 、尹鴻博就曾因傷缺席了全隊合練 ，並在隊醫陪伴下進行了單獨訓練 。而來自北京國安隊的防守型中場池忠國也因身體疲勞留在酒店內 。
當地時間21日晚 ，張琳芃、尹鴻博分別在不同隊醫的陪同下進行慢跑等恢複性訓練 。而此前一直“全勤”的右後衛王剛似乎傷勢稍顯嚴重，他在另外一名隊醫陪同下 ，在場邊慢走 。
受到近期國足訓練強度加大等因素影響，王剛舊傷複發 。事實上 ，王剛早在今年年初中超聯賽開賽前就曾受傷 ，直到今年7月聯賽首階段餘下比賽重啟後才得以代表國安隊參賽 。不過 ，從隊內反映的情況看 ，王剛的傷勢在可控範圍內，他應該不會錯過10月7日的中 、越比賽 。
受國腳們因疲勞導致傷情“此起彼伏”的影響 ，球隊醫療工作組的成員們近期工作量明顯加大 。除了3名隊醫分別陪伴3名傷號外 ，工作組餘下成員也都隨時待命 ，應對可能出現的其他意外傷病情況 。在20日經曆一天2練後 ，中國隊21日僅安排了晚間的室外訓練 。在本次訓練中 ，分組對抗訓練占據了較大比重 。
此外，在分組對抗訓練開始前 ，教練組還曾針對越南隊的技戰術特點 ，進行了有關進攻及由守轉攻內容的訓練 。對抗練習結束後，教練組還拿出相當一段時間演練前場定位球 、角球。麵對球員腳下靈活的越南隊 ，中國隊顯然需要作出有針對性的技戰術安排 。
