北京時間9月1日淩晨 ，西班牙人在官網宣布租借下曼城中場埃雷拉的消息 ：“西班牙人與曼城就楊格利-埃雷拉的租借事宜達成了一致，租期一個賽季 。北京時間9月1日19:00 ，他將出席新聞發布會 。”根據《曼徹斯特晚報》記者的報道 ，這筆租借沒有購買選項 。
