法國前鋒格列茲曼在2019年夏天從馬競轉會加盟巴薩 ，希望至今已經為巴薩踢了100場正式比賽。其中西甲聯賽72場、歐冠16場 、國王杯9場、西班牙超級杯3場 。格列茲曼在這些比賽中一共打進35球助攻16次 ，而巴薩曆史上進球最多的法國球員是亨利（49球） ，格列茲曼有機會超越亨利 。
不過格列茲曼的高額薪水也是巴薩的一大負擔 ，由於疫情影響 ，巴薩俱樂部的經濟狀況不佳 ，甚至無法和合同到期的梅西續約 。巴薩已經要求四位隊長率先降薪 ，但球迷們希望以格列茲曼為代表的法國軍團也可以接受降薪 。
事實上格列茲曼在巴薩效力期間 ，和梅西顯得並不足夠默契 。今年夏天巴薩一度想要賣掉格列茲曼 ，上個月巴薩主席拉波爾塔還曾表示 ，如果收到合適的報價 ，願意對求購持開放態度 ，因為俱樂部必須平衡賬目 。不過在梅西離隊後 ，格列茲曼在巴薩隊內的重要性提升 ，他將會留下繼續征戰 。
