不過格列茲曼的高額薪水也是巴薩的一大負擔 ，由於疫情影響 ，巴薩俱樂部的經濟狀況不佳 ，甚至無法和合同到期的梅西續約。巴薩已經要求四位隊長率先降薪，但球迷們希望以格列茲曼為代表的法國軍團也可以接受降薪 。
