本場賽後 ，言输身為英格蘭國腳的最喜賴斯在接受天空體育采訪時 ，竟然說出了驚人之語 ，欢老這位西漢姆聯的特拉頭牌球員竟毫不顧忌的表達了自己對於老特拉福德的愛慕之情 。
賴斯談到 ：“我很喜歡這裏 。福德每次我來到老特拉福德 ，赖斯联后我都會說，言输這裏是最喜我最喜歡的地方之一 。這是一個令人感到讚歎的球場。”
