巴爾加斯今年25歲，上海出自阿根廷薩斯菲爾德足球俱樂部青訓營。海港18歲起代表薩斯菲爾德一線隊出戰 ，官方在69場阿根廷甲級聯賽中貢獻14粒進球 、加斯加盟13次助攻；2019年 ，武巴巴爾加斯轉會加盟西甲皇家西班牙人足球俱樂部 ，再度正式效力期間 ，同城出戰正式比賽57次 ，上海貢獻5粒進球、海港8次助攻；2021年 ，官方巴爾加斯租借加盟土耳其超級聯賽的加斯加盟代米爾體育足球俱樂部 ，效力期間 ，武巴出戰36次 ，貢獻5粒進球 、13次助攻 ，被評為土超助攻王 。
巴爾加斯還曾入選阿根廷國家隊和國奧隊 ，在國家隊兩場友誼賽中有過出場記錄 ，代表國奧隊出戰6次 。
技術出眾 、動作靈活的巴爾加斯在場上主要司職邊鋒，同時也可勝任多個進攻端位置 ，擁有較強的突破能力 。相信巴爾加斯的加盟能夠幫助海港隊進一步提升前場攻擊力 。
