北京時間2月27日 ，官方管理英超切爾西俱樂部發布官方聲明 ，阿布老板阿布拉莫維奇委托切爾西慈善基金會負責和管理俱樂部 。委托
阿布拉莫維奇在聲明中表示 ：“在我執掌切爾西的西慈近20年裏 ，我一直認為自己是善基俱樂部的監護人 。我的金会俱乐工作 ，是负责確保我們像今天這樣成功以及建設未來 ，同時在社區中發揮積極作用 。官方管理”
“我做決定時 ，阿布一直將俱樂部的委托最大利益放在心上 。我依然致力於這些價值 ，西慈這也是善基為什麽在今天 ，我決定將切爾西委托給切爾西慈善基金會管理和照顧的金会俱乐原因 。我堅信，负责現在他們是官方管理最適合照顧切爾西的利益 、球員、工作人員和球迷的 。”
目前，俄羅斯和烏克蘭兩國爆發衝突 ，有英國議員表示 ，應該沒收阿布在英國的財產 ，不允許他再擁有切爾西俱樂部 。不過法律專家表示 ，這不會影響切爾西俱樂部的正常運營 。
